Roatan Operation Animal Rescue – Roatan Island
Roatan Operation Animal Rescue (ROAR) is a nonprofit organization operating on Roatan Island in the Bay Islands of Honduras. They have 501(c)(3) Status. Their mission is to serve the stray and neglected animals of Roatan. Through ongoing public awareness and education, they continue to bring mindfulness to overpopulation and animal cruelty in the proper care of companion animals.
All Island animals that are able to be socialized are placed in ‘fur-ever’ homes. Assisting all locals unable to pay for vet care is what they do. With a focus on stray island dogs and cats, they will assist any animal in crisis.

Roar has partnered with local and ex-pat artists welcoming their donated artwork for sale as ROAR merchandise. All proceeds go to the care and expenses of the animals. Click here to Shop ROAR merchandise.
