Tucked away on an eastern ridge of the Island of Roatan you will find a natural and pristine retreat called Paya Bay Resort. This gem features 10 rooms. Dine at the indoor or alfresco Cafe with views of the Caribbean Sea, and amazing green-filled mountains surrounding the resort.

They offer flats fishing, boat tours, and guided hiking tours. A picturesque beach bar sits on the peninsula has a quiet peaceful ambiance. The onsite dive center focuses on underwater tours of the beautiful sea gardens of Roatan Island.

Paya Bay Resort sits on roughly 22 acres of diverse terrain. You will find secluded secret coves and two untouched and beautiful natural beaches. Watch the iguanas sunbathe on the ridges and the cliffs.

Mangroves make up much of the wetlands here and provide a home to the white-crowned pigeon. The Mangroves are a nursery for many of the other baby sea creatives prior to them growing larger to make their way to the sea. Enjoy a stroll through the nature trails and paths throughout the property.

Paya Bay’s seaside restaurant and main area overlook the warm Caribbean waters and the two secluded sandy beaches on both sides of the bay.

From French Harbour heading east to the Oak Ridge exit. Once on the Oak Ridge turnoff (+/- 500 meters), turn right unto the unpaved East End road. Paya Bay Resort’s entrance will be on your left 6 KM after this turn.
